Obituary for Joseph F. Kovacs
Joseph F. Kovacs, 72, of Whitehall, died December 14, 2013 in Lehigh Vally Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was married to Paulette (Blozsinsky) Kovacs. Born in Ironton, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Josephine (Yaremchuk)Kovacs. Having attended Lehigh University, he was a customer service representative of the Eaton Corp., Michigan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall and its Holy Name Society. He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Garden Railroad Club as well as the Pocono Garden Railroad Club. He served in the Army National Guard. Survivors: In addition to his wife Paulette, he is survived by a daughter, Susan Ladd; a son, David Ladd and his wife Denise; grandchildren, Kyle and Joshua Ladd; granddaughter, Autumn Ladd. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas R. Kovacs. Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall. Viewing 7-8:30 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
