Obituary for Joseph Felix
Joseph Felix, 78 years, of Whitehall, passed away on Sunday April 9th, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Schneider) Felix, celebrating 47 years of marriage in February. Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Frank and Lucy (Dobish) Felix.
He was employed as a union painter in the Lehigh Valley for many years. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay.
He was a Marine veteran and also a lifetime member of the Catholic War Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, sons Joseph and wife Brenda of Whitehall and Frank and wife Jennifer of Nazareth, sisters Anna Strella of Northampton, Helen Beil of Coplay, Emma Majercak of Northampton and Jean Michael of Easton, grandchildren Nathan, Connor and Keira and loving dog Daisy. He was predeceased by brothers Frank and John and a sister Mary Dougherty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April12th, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA 18037. A viewing will be held at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 CHESTNUT STREET COPLAY, PA 18037, formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9-10AM. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Elevator Fund.
