Obituary for Joseph J. Palagonia
Joseph J. Palagonia, 84, of Bethlehem, formerly of Whitehall and Long Island, NY, passed away on July 12, 2015 at Gracedale, Nazareth. Born in Queens, L.I., NY, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Pauline M. (Wagner) Palagonia. A Korean War veteran, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army in Germany. He retired from Kraft Foods, Fogelsville. Joseph was a lifetime member of the Fearless Fire Co., Allentown and the Fullerton Fire Co. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. Survivors: Sister, Evelyn wife of Joseph Herman of Whitehall; brothers, Charles Wagner and his wife Nicole of Whitehall; Jerry Palagonia and his wife Tina of Whitehall; friend, Barbara Schussler of Bethlehem, nieces; nephews. Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Interment with military honors, St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall.
