Obituary for Joseph L. Duncan
Joseph L. “Skip” Duncan, 85 years, formerly of Macungie, passed away on Monday March 27, 2017 in Luther Crest Nursing Care Center, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Charlotte R. Lentz. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry G. and Mary E. (Burns) Duncan.

He was employed in the maintenance department at Tarkett Inc. in Whitehall for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown.

He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post #8282 in Breinigsville.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Anita, Patrick, Thomas, Susan, Lawrence and Kathleen. He was predeceased by a brother Harry P. Duncan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM Friday March 31, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown, PA 18103. A calling hour will be held from 12:00-1:00PM Friday at the church. Contributions can be made to the Allentown Rescue Mission 355 Hamilton St. Allentown, PA 18101.
