Obituary for Joseph R Dispensa
Joseph R. Dispensa, 87 years, of Whitehall, died Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 in his residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Randazzo) Dispensa.
He worked many years in the garment industry, employed by the former Cross Country Clothes, Greif, and Today’s Man.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Whitehall for over 50 years and was also a past President and coach for Coplay Sports.
He was an Army veteran.
Joseph is survived by a son Chuck Dispensa and his wife Debra of Minnesota, daughters Linda wife of Rick Swika, of Peckville and Donna wife of Gregory Reitenauer of Allentown, brother Robert Dispensa of Florida, sister Claire Murray of Minnesota, 5 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and companion Marge Keller of Danielsville. He was predeceased by Betty, the mother of his 3 children.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday March 8th 2017 in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church 3900 Mechanicsville Rd. Whitehall, PA 18052. Calling hours will be from 10-11:00 am Wednesday in the church. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Allentown.
