Obituary for Josephine B Galm
Josephine B. Galm, 85 years, of Whitehall Township, died Tuesday May 2nd, at her home. She was the wife of Joseph D. Galm, celebrating 62 years of marriage last May. Born in Newburgh, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Filippa (Orlando) Barberi.

She was employed from 1951-1960 as a secretary for Western Electric on loan to Bell Laboratories and from 1969-1996, she was a legal secretary for Attorney Harold Caplan. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay.

She was a 1949 Northampton High School graduate and also attended Allentown Business School.

Survivors include her husband, daughters Carol wife of the late Joseph Yanavitch of Coplay and Christine wife of Glenn Hulse of Fairfax Station, VA, and grandchildren Jessica, Natalie, Patrick, and Shane. She was predeceased by a brother John A. Barberi and a sister Angelina Schock.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am Saturday May 6th, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA 18037. A calling period will be held Saturday from 9:30-!0:00am in the church. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 CHESTNUT ST. COPLAY, PA, 18037, formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
