Josephine was a former member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Choir and Altar and Rosary Society. She was very active in the Coplay community. She was a member of Coplay American Legion Auxiliary, Allentown YMCA Auxiliary; Coplay Indoor Garden Club; Former member of Nazareth Chrysanthemum Club; Indianland Garden Club, Senior Citizens of Coplay & Whitehall Coplay Chemical People.
Josephine was the former Mayor of Coplay for sixteen years. Above all, her biggest enjoyment and accomplishment was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered and survived by children; sons, Walter J. & wife Priscilla, Joseph & wife Theresa, all of Cherryville, Daniel J. & wife Michelle of Northampton; daughter, Karen A. of Cherryville; grandsons, Michael, Nigel, Cade; great grandchildren; Arabelle, Emilia, Bianca, Hayden and Kipley.
A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Monsignor David L. James will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at St. Peter’s R.C.C. 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay, PA. 18037 There will be a calling period at the church from 09:00 – 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Joey Sudo Memorial Fund 1616 Trawler Lane, Annapolis, MD. 21409 c/o of the funeral home.
