Obituary for Joyce A. Markle
Joyce A. "Joy" Markle, 86, of Phillipsburg, NJ, formerly of Coplay, PA, died January 21, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital-Warren Campus. She was married to the late Howard C. Markle Jr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Roy W. and Elizabeth (Brader) Huber. She was employed as a switchboard operator for many years. She was a member of the Phillipsburg Alliance Church, Phillipsburg, and was formerly active with the Coplay Crime Watch. Survivors: Daughters, Deborah "Sam" Markle of Phillipsburg, Pamela A. wife of Robert Amelio Jr. of Kutztown, Barbara Jean wife of Edward Tomcics of Whitehall; son, James S. Markle and his wife Kathy of Randolph NY; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. Due to weather conditions, Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 28. 2015, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037 preceded by a viewing from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment to follow service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Memorial Contributions, in lieu of flowers, payable to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
