Julia Nush, 88, formerly of Whitehall, passed away May 14, 2016 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was married to the late Peter Nush. Born in N. Whitehall Twp., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Hrynak)Simock. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. Survivors: Son, Peter G. Nush and wife Bernadette of Northampton; daughters, Barbara of Allentown, Annette wife of Kenneth Longley of Nazareth; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Services: Viewing from 8-9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. Interment, parish cemetery, Northampton.
