Obituary for Julia V. Superka
Julia V. Superka, 95, of N. Catasauqua, died Tuesday, June 10th, 2014. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Superka. Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late John and Vladislava (Tunkevich) Staversky. Julia was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua. She worked for over 21 years as a secretary in the financial department for General Electric before retiring. Prior to that she worked for the former General Ribbon Mills of Catasauqua. Julia was a former member of the N. Catasauqua Borough Council. Surviving are nieces, nephews and great nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Thursday June 12th, 2014 at St. Lawrence Church, 1001 2nd St. N. Catasauqua, 18032. Her viewing will be from 9:30-10:30am at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
