Obituaries
June Chuss, 84, of Whitehall, passed away May 17. She is survived by sons Timothy and Matthew, and grandchildren Justin, Timothy, Angela, Tony, and Matthew, as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her sister Shirely. June was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her parents Paul and Roxie Warren, and five siblings.
Throughout her life, she raised children and grandchildren at her home in Hokendauqua, worked at positions including as a school crossing guard, a TSA employee at the airport, and a home caregiver, as well as volunteering with the ambulance corps for 18 years. She used to enjoy painting ceramics, and more recently, completing puzzles with her friends, who will greatly miss her.
Family and friends will gather to remember June at the St. Andrew’s Cemetery, 600 Penn St., North Catasauqua on May 27 at 11am. Contributions to any charity in June’s memory would be appreciated.
