Obituary for June M. Snyder
June M. Snyder 79, of Whitehall died Friday January 8, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Snyder. Born in W.Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Mabel (Glasser) Scheirer. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton. June had worked as an expeditor in the purchasing department of Mack Trucks of Allentown for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Whitehall Women’s Club and the Whitehall Senior Citizens Club. June’s love was to be with her family including daughter Judy wife of Rafe Lucci of Northampton, sons Craig husband of Jackie Snyder of Whitehall, Tim husband of Patty Snyder of Kutztown, Scott of Whitehall, six beloved grandchildren Sarah, Tim, Jeff, Steven. Rafe and Nick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday January 13, 2010 in St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, 18052. Calling hours will be held from 7-8:30pm Tuesday, January 12 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032 and from 10-11am Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name, payable to the church or to the American Lung Association, 2121 City Line Road, Bethlehem, 18017.
