Obituary for Karen A. Miller
Karen A. Miller, 65, of Coplay, passed away on May 19, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 23, 1957, she was the daughter of Donald B. Ruth of Coplay and the late Dorothy (Lauser) Ruth.
Karen was a 1975 graduate of Whitehall High School and went on to achieve her Licensed Practical Nursing certification. She was a great bowler and loved playing in bowling leagues with her close friends. Oftentimes, you could find her at home watching her favorite cooking shows and lifetime movies. Karen was also known to have a sweet tooth! Above all, she put her family first. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She loved her daughters and granddaughter with all her heart and soul. Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, Don, she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Alexis Davies of Coplay and Samantha Miller of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Ila Fontanez. In addition to her mother, Dorothy, she was predeceased by her aunts, Jean and Joyce.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA 18037 and from 10-11 AM on Thursday, May 25th at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052. A funeral service will follow at 11AM on Thursday. Burial will follow services at Coplay Cemetery.
