Kathryn E. Kubinsky, 81, of Catasauqua passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home. She was a loving wife to the late Michael E. Kubinsky, Jr. Born in West Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin R. and Emma (Minnich) Hicks.
Kathy was a graduate of Whitehall High School, class of 1961, and was a dedicated volunteer at the Catasauqua Thrift Shop for many years. She was a kind person who loved her family dearly. Kathy was known as ‘Baba’ to everyone, but especially enjoyed being ‘Baba’ to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her sons, Michael III, Joseph and fiancée Andrea, and David and wife Linda; daughter Kristine Labert and husband David; brother William Hicks; sisters Patricia Klotz and Francis Reppert; sister-in-law Nancy and husband James Altenbach; and sister-in-law Lucille Hicks; grandchildren Hannah, Adam, Joel, Bryn, Cameron, Andrew and fiancée Jennifer, Nicholas and wife Meredith, and great-grandchildren Lilianna, Katalina, Juliette and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several siblings.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
