Obituary for Kurt A. Miller
Kurt A. Miller, 41 years, of Bethlehem, formerly of Catasauqua, died Monday April 4th, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Erica (Miller) Miller and they would have celebrated 7 years of marriage together this May. Born in Allentown, he was a son of J. Frederick and Marjorie (Freund) Miller of Catasauqua.
Kurt was a very active member of Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem where he taught Sunday school, lead a young adult group, including a cross church group called One Gathering. Kurt also enjoyed playing drums and played at church for over 20 years. Kurt graduated as valedictorian of the Catasauqua High School Class of 1993. He graduated with highest honors from Lehigh University. Kurt worked as a mechanical engineer for almost 20 years for Lutron. He loved stock car racing, cooking and watching The 3 Stooges.
Kurt’s family remembers him as a man who feared the Lord, who honored his parents, and was a loving husband and Daddy.
Surviving along with his wife are his children Nathanael and Serena Miller; his parents J. Frederick and Marjorie (Freund) Miller; brother Philip Miller and wife Jenny and a niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday April 9th, 2016 at Central Assembly of God, 1300 Eaton Ave. Bethlehem, 18018. There will be a calling period from 10-11am at the Church on Saturday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the family to go toward Kurt’s children’s education.
