Obituaries
Lardell McNeill, 78, of Coplay, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 24, 2023. Born in Chester, PA. he was the son of Eula McNeill and the loving husband of Christine (Jordan) McNeill with whom he shared 54 years of marriage this past April.
He attended E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, NC. Lardell was affectionately known as both “Hubbard” and “Mac”. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in both Germany and Europe during this time.
He was employed for over 35 years at Naval Weapons Station Earle in the ordinance department where he oversaw and organized inventory.
Lardell was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by many. Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Christine McNeill, son, Sean P. and wife Susan McNeill, grandsons, Ryan P. and Matthew T. McNeill. He also is survived by brother in law, Roger (Ray) Jordan and wife Bonnie, sisters in laws, Dorothy Matthew, Louise Cummings and husband Leon, and Shirley Jordan, in addition to John R. McNeill (uncle) and Ophelia Shaw(aunt)and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers (Robert and John) and 1 sister (Janice).
There will be a visitation on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 pm. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay. 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA. 18037.
