Lawrence “Larry” J. Williams, 81, of North Catasauqua, died Wednesday January 18th, 2023. He was the loving husband of Frances A. (Baus) Williams and celebrated 55 years of marriage together last April. Born in North Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Irene (Potak) Williams.

Larry was a faithful member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in North Catasauqua. He graduated from Catasauqua High School in 1959 and served honorably in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Early in his career, he worked for Allen Laundry in Allentown. He worked for over 30 years in the Weldment Department for the Bethlehem Steel. Larry was also a school bus driver for the Whitehall/Coplay School District for many years.

Larry was very active with Catasauqua’s Youth Athletic Programs and spent many years coaching softball, baseball, knee-hi football and supporting the youth wrestling program. He was very patriotic, loved his country, and all those who served. Larry also loved animals, especially his pets. Most of all he loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
