Obituary for Lee Stephen Schadler
Lee Stephen Schadler, 70, of Coplay, passed away on October 19, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved son of Elaine (Kline) Schadler and the late Traver Schadler.
Lee was a graduate of Liberty High School and a proud U.S. Navy veteran who honorably served his country from 1969-1973 during the Vietnam War. He worked as a mechanic for many years before his retirement. Lee enjoyed racing, working on his home and was a master craftsman. He enjoyed being in nature and especially loved fishing. He also liked to attend airshows. Above all, Lee loved spending time with his family. He was the proudest “Pop-Pop”. He was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine of Bethlehem Township; children, Amy Mancuso and husband, Steven of Dickson City, PA; Hilary Fischl and husband, Mark of Key West, FL; and Dan Schadler of Coplay; grandchildren, Kylee and Anthony Mancuso; and brothers, Glenn Schadler of Bethlehem Township; and Mark Schadler of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by his furry companion, Riley. He was predeceased in death by his father, Traver and his brother, Michael Schadler.
Friends and family may pay their respects 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, followed by words of remembrance at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. Burial will take place at 2:30 PM on Thursday, October 28, at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
