Obituary for Linda F. Daney
Linda F. (Hill) Daney, of Bath, passed away on June 8, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Earl K. Daney with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage this past April the 4th. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Kathyrn L. (Buchman) Hill and raised by the late Robert and Theresa Buchman.
Linda was a 1970 graduate of Whitehall High School and a 1971 graduate of Lehigh County Community College. She earned her licensed practical nursing certificate and started her career at Palmerton Hospital. She went on to work for other establishments like Gracedale Nursing Home and Easton Nursing Center. After years of caring for others, she retired from Mosser Nursing Home in Trexlertown. Linda was a woman of faith who identified with Lutheran ministries. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband, Earl, she is survived by brother Donald Hill and wife, Deborah of Hokendauqua; niece, Ashley Hill of Hokendauqua; and cousin, Barry Buchman of Allentown.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A viewing will be held from 12-1 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to Peaceable Kingdom at 1049 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052. Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. of Coplay is entrusted with arrangements.
