Lois Ann Jodry, 72, of Catasauqua died Friday, May 15, 2026 at LVH - Muhlenberg. She was the wife of William “Bill” L. Jodry with whom she shared 53 years of marriage on April 13th. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Christine L. “Teenie” (Tait) and Samuel M. Krause Jr.
Lois worked in a variety of local garment factories including Grief & Cross Country. Most recently, she was employed as a Receptionist for St. Luke’s in the Women’s Health Department.
She loved spending all her free time with her family. She was a Colorguard Mom for many years and spent countless hours in gyms near and far supporting her girls. She was a true beach soul who found peace relaxing by the ocean. Her happiest moments were spent on trips to Ocean City Maryland. She also enjoyed walks on the Ironton Trail.
Above all, her greatest joy were her grandsons. From sleepovers to swimming trip and playground stops she never said not to her boys. She was their biggest cheerleader, spoiling them with love and wisdom. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband William “Bill”, Daughters, Tammy L. Kurtz and husband Wayne, Kristy L. Ritter and husband Scott, Sister Jayne Krause, grandsons Devin Kurtz and Bradley Ritter, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by brother Thom Krause.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua. Calling period from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the parlor.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Northampton Area Band Parents or the Haafsville Animal Sanctury care of the funeral home.
