Obituary for Loriann M. Mark

Loriann M. Mark, 55, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Robert Lee Shull and Linda George.


Lori attended Catasauqua High School, class of 1987. She was a long time unit secretary at Phoebe Home in Allentown. She was later employed as a Unit Manager for Parkland and Whitehall Manors.


Lori was a part of a close knit group of friends in the local Punk Rock scene. She had a close circle of friends and built many lifelong relationships. Above all, she was a beloved mother and Nana who loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.


Those left to cherish fond memories include her parents; daughter, Ashley L. and husband Tyler Kernechel; son Nicholas M. Mark; grandchildren; Nox and Nolan Kernechel; brother Robert J. Shull and wife Becky; sister Jaime Diefenderfer and husband Ian; boyfriend Donald Gordon; former husband Stephen Mark and several nieces and nephews and many friends.


There will be a celebration of life on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua from 12-2pm.
