Obituary for Louis J. Roth
Louis J. Roth, 84, died Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at his residence in Whitehall. Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Schwindenhammer) Roth. Louis was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Catasauqua. Louis worked for many years in warehousing for the former Lehigh Candy in Whitehall. He was a former officer of the Traveler’s Protection Agency (TPA) and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his sisters Margaret F. Tycholiz, and Joan and husband Richard Pudliner; 5 nieces; 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews; 3 great grand nieces and 5 great grand nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Esther, Rita, Marie and Helen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am Thursday October 23rd, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St. Catasauqua, 18032. His viewing will be from 9-10am Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
