Obituary for Mabel A. Vermuelen
Mabel A. Vermuelen, 72, of Macungie, died on June 25, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife of John Vermuelen whom she was married to for over 28 years.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Donald Guldin and Mabel (Johnson) Guldin.
Mabel loved being a grandmother. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.
She was a member of Salem Bible Church of Macungie. She was employed as a sewer for a shoe factory and royal manufacturing company. She was well known at the 7-11 in Macungie. Mabel was a proud Girl Scout leader. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, John; her daughter Tammy and husband Benjamin; brothers; Donald Guldin and John Guldin; sisters; Cindy Guldin, Melain Herzog and Shirley Lindtner, grandchildren; Emily and husband Craig Blasko, Scott Wink, Ben Seibert, and wife Christina; and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Guldin and 1 great grandchild.
