Obituary for Margaret A. Kalnas
Margaret A. Kalnas, 71 years of Whitehall died Saturday March 10, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, Pa. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Bowen) Ohotski. She was the wife of the late Michael T. Kalnas who died in 2009.
Margaret worked for Towels & Co., Inc. as an Licensed Insurance Agent for 37 years before retiring. She was a former member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua, a member of the Fullerton Fire Co. #1 ladies auxiliary and a member of St. John’s Senior Center.
Survivors are son David M. Kalnas and his wife Tiffany, daughter Michele A. Opperman and husband Eddie, Julie Kalnas Dieterly, brother Thomas M. Ohotski and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday March 17, 2018 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the St. John’s Senior Center c/o the funeral home.
