Obituary for Margaret J. Lansky
Margaret J. Lansky 79, of Coplay died peacefully in the presence of her family Thursday October 4, 2007 at the Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. She was the wife of Timothy J. Lansky I and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary February of this year. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of Catherine A. (Repko) Kiss of Coplay and the late Edward J. Kiss. She enjoyed her retail positions in the jewelry and shoe departments of a variety of retail department stores in the Lehigh Valley and Whitehall Malls, retiring from JC Penny after working for more than 25 years. Surviving with her mother and husband are son Timothy J. Lansky II of Coplay, daughter Susan C. (Lansky) wife of Steven Shafer of Champaign, Ill., grandson Timothy J. Lansky III, granddaughter Karen E. Shafer and her loving schnauzer, Angel. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday October 9, 2007 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 11:00am until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made payable to Animals in Distress c/o of the funeral home.
