Obituary for Marguerite "Maggie" F. Sommers
Marguerite “Maggie” F. Sommers, 64, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.
Born in Texas, she was the daughter of the late Sergio and Josephine (Cericola) Sayago. She was the wife of Brian J. Sommers with whom she shared 25 years of marriage this past May.
She was a member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay. She was employed as a loan processor and mortgage writer for a home loans company.
Maggie loved animals. She was an animal advocate and supported several animal rescue organizations. She loved walking her dogs and bike riding. Above all she loved caring for her home and family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Brian; sons; Josh, Jacob and Justin; brother, Brian; sisters; Stephanie, Deb and Fran as well as six grandchildren.
There will be a memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 09:00-10:00 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA. 18037. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s R.C. Church 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay, PA. 18037.
