Obituary for Mark A. Brown
Mark A. Brown, 57, of North Catasauqua, passed on November 3, 2021, surrounded by his loving family in his residence. He was the loving husband of Susan (Sensinger) Brown with whom he celebrated 35 years of marriage this past August. He was the son of the late Richard E. and Theresa Brown.
Mark was a 1982 graduate of Whitehall High School and worked as a machine operator for Just Born for over 30 years. Mark enjoyed fishing, riding Harleys with his brother, and collecting guns. He especially liked working on his 1965 Dodge Coronet in which he owned since he was 17 years old. He loved cats and dogs and enjoyed volunteering at Feline Finish Line in Catasauqua with his wife. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Sofia. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by daughters, Jennifer L. Brown and Emily S. Brown, both of Whitehall; granddaughter, Sofia G. Brown; brother, Christopher W. Brown and wife, Lori of Northampton; sisters, Karen Brown of Whitehall; Valerie Brown and husband, Vic Preletz of Catasauqua; and Jennifer Brown and spouse, Jason Werner of Whitehall; nephews, Joshua and Jacob Brown; nieces, Abigail Brown-Preletz and Gabriella Brown; and great nephew, Tyler Thomas Brown. He is also survived by his four-legged children at home. He was predeceased by nephew, Tyler Anthony Brown and his beloved chocolate lab, Rocco.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A visitation will be held from 12-1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. A luncheon will be held at the Jednota Club in Catasauqua following burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Feline Finish Line and mailed c/o the funeral home.
