Obituaries
Mary A. Daub, 98, of Whitehall passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, at Fellowship Terrace. Born in Hokey, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Soltis)Matika.
She was the wife of the late John L. Daub, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage prior to his passing in March of 2024.
Mary was a 1944 graduate of Whitehall High School.
She was a secretary for the automotive industry, retiring in 1977. She was a longtime member of St. John Fisher Church in Catasauqua. She loved taking senior citizen bus trips with church Knights of Columbus and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish fond memories include many nieces and nephews. There will be a calling period on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 1239 Third St., N. Catasauqua from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in N. Catasauqua.
