Obituary for Mary A. Gensits
Mary A. Gensits, 99, formerly of Coplay, passed away March 2 in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, where she resided for 26 years. She was the wife of the late Louis F. Gensits. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Liebezeit) Domitrovits. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Clyde Shirt Co., Northampton. Mary was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay and its Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors: daughters, Frances Walakovits, of Coplay; Hilda Newhard of Whitehall; son, Louis J. Gensits and his wife, Elaine of Whitehall; grandsons, Edward Walakovits and his wife, Joan; Stephen Gensits and his wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kurt and Ryan Walakovits, Madison and Kaitlyn Gensits. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth Street, Coplay. Viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment, St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church or Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, both c/o the funeral home.
