Obituary for Mary D. Kametz
Mary D. Kametz, 81, of Whitehall, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA. She was married to Edward J. Kametz for 57 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Brezina) Polaha. She was a cafeteria worker in the East Hills Junior High School, Bethlehem and previously was employed by the former Western Electric, Allentown. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. An avid polka dancer, she was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund. Survivors: Husband, sons, Kevin and his wife Kim of Wescoesville, John J. and his wife, Brenda of Bethlehem, Edward J. and his wife, Sheri of Hellertown; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters; brothers, Joseph and William Polaha, sister, Dorothy Lichman. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014, St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Robert A.
