Obituary for Mary D. Nederostek
Mary D. Nederostek, 96, of Whitehall, passed away on August 15, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew P. “Fats” Nederostek until his passing in November of 1984. Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Kurzeja) Skeebok.

Mary was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Cross Country Clothes. Mary was a member of Young at Heart. She was also a lifelong member of the Coplay Saengerbund where she spent many hours dancing polkas.

Mary is survived by son, Andrew L. Nederostek and wife, Kathleen of Lehigh Township; two daughters, Antoinette “Toni”, wife of Jacob Molchany of Coplay, and Judith wife of late husband, Edward Donigan of Whitehall; three grandchildren, Kimberly Tiburzi, Robin Weston, and Nicholas Nederostek; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Bankos of Whitehall. She was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Henninger, Emma Amadore, and Frances Reenock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Queenship of Mary R.C.C. at 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. A viewing will be held from 8:30-10:00 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. Burial will follow mass at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Northampton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the church at the above address.
