Obituary for Mary Ellen Ondush
Mary Ellen Ondush 61 years of N. Catasauqua died in her home surrounded by her family and friends Tuesday evening April 6, 2010. She was the wife of Joseph P. Ondush Jr. celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary this year. Born in Lehighton she was the daughter of the late Nevin and Ida (Ahner) Smith. Mary worked very hard as a screen printer for various industries in the Lehigh Valley for many years. Her enjoyment came from working in the garden, playing card games, going to the casinos and spending time with her friends and most treasured family. Surviving with her husband are daughters Lisa M. Ondush, Corrine M. Ondush, Angela M. Ondush and fiancé Keith Miller, sisters Barbara Hunsicker, Carol Hunsicker, brothers Tommy Smith, Nevin Smith Jr. and Gerald Smith. Mary is also survived by step brothers, step sisters, nieces and nephews and many friends that she held close to her heart. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday April 12 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name payable to Bible Baptist Church, 511 Farmington Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
