Obituary for Mary J. Toth
Mary J. Toth, 96, formerly of Whitehall and a former resident of Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton, passed away February 23, 2016 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was married to the late Joseph J. Toth for 65 years. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Ann (Karner) Jandris. She was a sewing machine operator for 20 years at various local mills retiring in 1960. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. Mary was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund. Survivors: Daughters, Patricia wife of Eugene Huber of Quakertown, Joan wife of Julius Nickischer of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Nickischer, Helen Feichtl, Emma Durgee, Cecil Catino, Margaret Glickman, Lillian Rodgers, Rose Moore. She was predeceased by siblings, Johanna, Agnes Behler. Martin, Joseph, and John. Services: Viewing from 9-10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
