Obituary for Mary Janice Montgomery
Mary Janice Montgomery, 76, of Catasauqua, died Wednesday October 14th, 2015 surrounded by her family at her home. She was the wife of the late Gary G. Montgomery. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Helen C. (Hodge) Hazlinsky.
Janice was a member of the St. John Fisher Catholic Church in North Catasauqua. Most recently she worked as an office manager at the Meals on Wheels of Northampton County.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and is survived by her daughters Christine Hahn, Ann Almazan and son Robert Montgomery and his wife Kristine; sisters Susan Parent and Theresa Bieak and her husband Dennis; grandchildren Cory and Megan Hahn, Bridget Almazan, and Riley Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen T. Hicks and sons-in-law Todd Hahn and Bob Almazan.
Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling period from 10-11am Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the Lehigh Valley Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
