Obituary for Mary Mayorak
Mary Mayorak, 99, formerly of Whitehall Township, died May 7, 2014 at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was married to the late John Mayorak. Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Holuko) Novak. She was employed as an inspector for the former General Cigar Co., Allentown. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. Survivors: Daughter, Barbara A. Gatta of Whitehall; former son-in-law, Thomas Gatta of Allentown; grandsons, Michael Podorsky of Germansville, Mark Podorsky of Allentown, Robert Mayorak Jr. of Nazareth; sisters, Sophie Patchinka, Anna Krawchuk, Helen Novak, Catherine Tereleski, Margaret Matika. She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Mayorak. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Mary 10, 2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Viewing from 8:30to 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Contributions: St. John the Baptist Church c/o the funeral home.
