Obituary for Mary Spaeth
Mary (Pecylak) Spaeth, Formerly of Cranford, NJ Mary passed peacefully from sleep into eternal life on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the home of her daughter Barbara in Whitehall, Pa. Mary was born and grew up in Irvington, NJ and lived most of her life in Cranford, NJ. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Lester W. Spaeth and by her siblings; Stephie Gadberry, Sylvester Pecylak, Joseph Pecylak and Anne Klumas; and son-in-law Thomas Pszczolkowski. Mary was a loving mother and excellent homemaker, whose hobbies included cooking, baking and painting. Mary was loved and cherished by all for her faithfulness, strength and support. “Nana” always had time to play cards or a game with her grandchildren or to make them a special meal. Surviving are her two daughters, Barbara Pszczolkowski and Bonnie Trochim, son–in-law Steven Trochim, seven grandchildren: Andrew, Thomas, Daniel, Christopher, Douglas, Jennifer and Matthew, and four great-grandchildren: Ryan, Alina, Sasha and Story. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 1:30 at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Firth and Hudson Streets, Phillipsburg, NJ. A private burial will directly follow. Memorial donations may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation at www.arthritis.org.
