Obituary for Mary Y. Gilly
Mary Yoo Gilly, 94, formerly of Kunkletown, died Sunday, May 29 2022 at Weatherwood Nursing Home in Weatherly. She was the wife of the late William Gilly. Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rosalie (Haklar) Yoo.
Mary worked for many years for Western Electric before her retirement. She also enjoyed working as a beautician. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ann, Helen, Rose, Elizabeth and brothers Frank Jr., Stephen, John, Joseph, and Charles.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with arrangements.
