Obituary for Matt D. Ward
Matthew D. Ward 35 years of Emmaus formerly Catasauqua died Thursday April 19, 2007 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was the fiancé of Kimberly Quier with whom he lived for the past 16 years. Born in Allentown he was the son of Mildred Ellen (Lazarus) Ward. Matty was a member of the 1990 graduating class of Catasauqua High School and was a member of the Emmaus Men’s Basketball League. He worked in construction with Lamar Advertising of Allentown. Surviving with his fiancé and mother are his twins, son Brendon and daughter Brenna and daughter Belinda all at home, sister Susan wife of Thomas Ritter of Perkasie, a brother Christopher husband of Suzette Ward of Lower Macungie Twsp. and his father Curtis D. Ward of Bath. Also nieces and nephews and all his extended family who loved him. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday April 28, 2007 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 10:00am until 11:00 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the family c/o the funeral home.
