Obituary for Maynard "Mike" P. Faust
Maynard “Mike” P. Faust, 84, died Tuesday January 31, 2023, at his home in Whitehall with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Wadusky) Faust and celebrated 60 years of marriage before she passed in 2017. Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late William and Daisy (Peters) Faust.
Mike was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in North Catasauqua. He was a self-employed contractor providing truck fleet maintenance primarily to Bell Telephone. Mike loved to work, and he loved to watch football.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his son Maynard “Mick” Faust and wife Tina, daughters Mary Louise Faust and Marsha Karess; grandchildren Brandon, Michael and Matthew Karess and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Mark, son in law Robert Karess and his brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery in North Catasauqua. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
