Obituary for Melba J. McClafferty
Melba J. McClafferty 87 years formerly of Fullerton died Thursday April 14, 2011 In Cedarbrook Nursing Home South Whitehall Twsp. She was the widow of the late Edward McClafferty. Born in Whitehall she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Maygar) Parker. Melba was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Allentown. She retired as a head teller at First Union Bank after many years of service. Melba also worked at Josh Early Candies, Rileighs Decorating, Dorney Park and the former Zollinger’s. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday April 18 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Viewing times will be 10:00am until 11:00am Monday in the funeral home. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville, Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to Cure Search, National Childhood Cancer Foundation, 4600 East West Highway, Suite 600 Bethesda, MD. 20814-3457.
