Obituaries
Melvin worked for many years as a forklift operator and material handler for Wenco & the former Hubble Bell Corporation before retiring. He loved collecting model trains and he served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Army.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters Susan Ritter and Linda wife of Leonard Landis, three grandsons and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff and everyone who helped care for him at The Phoebe Home of Allentown.
Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring at 11:00am Friday January 25th, 2019 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. His viewing will be from 10-11am in the funeral home of Friday. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Phoebe Home 1925 Turner Street Allentown, Pa. 18104.
