Obituary for Michael Andrew Jacobson Jr.
Michael A. Jacobson, Jr., 42, of Bethlehem, died May 5, 2020 after a battle with Lymphoma of the nervous system. He was born on April 6, 1978 in Roanoke, Virginia, the son of Marie and Michael Jacobson, Sr.
Michael is survived by his wife, Michele, and their two sons Xavier and Alexander. He is also survived by his brothers, Matt and Brad, sister-in-law Crystal, and nephews and niece, Derrick, Madeline, and his Godson, Connor.
He graduated from Liberty High School in 1996, where he played trumpet in the Grenadier band. He was currently enrolled at DeSales University studying computer science.
Michael was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Catasauqua, PA where he signed for Mass on Sunday mornings, sang in the Choir, and could be found in the kitchen helping with cooking for fundraisers. He was also a member of the Allentown Symphony Choir. Fluent in German, Sign Language and Klingon (big Star Trek fan), he enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. He served at the Trinity Episcopal Church soup kitchen for over 20 years and loved cooking and baking. He was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend who will be missed by all.
Services are private and a Mass in celebration of his life will take place at a future date. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Catasauqua, PA. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
