Michael E. "Whitey" Nederostek, 100, formerly of Whitehall, passed away March 9, 2015 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was married to the late Anna R. (Mathesz)Nederostek. Born in Cementon, he was the son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Kachmarcik) Nederostek. An Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and recipient of 8 Bronze Stars, he served honorably in the 484th Bomber Group and was a life member of the Catholic War Veterans Posts #454, Northampton and the Egypt VFW Post #7293. He retired as a carme operator from Lafarge Cement Co., Whitehall. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton and its Holy Name Society. Michael was a member of the Laurel Fire Co., Cementon. Survivors: children, Michael and his wife Sharon of Upper Saucon Twp., Anna wife of Richard Craig of New Castle, Thomas and his wife Vicki of Moore, SC, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Emil, Jake, Fred; sister, Emma Hershman. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, Robert A.
