Obituary for Michael E. Shimshy
Michael E. Shimshy, 67 years, of Northampton, died Friday April 25th, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Miller) Shimshy. Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Michael and Dorothy (Schuler) Shimshy.
Michael worked for many years as a steel fabricator for the former Fuller Co. of Catasauqua, before retiring.
Surviving are his children, daughters Billie Jo wife of James Mayer and Julie Mulzet-Harter, sons Richard Mulzet, Wayne Mulzet and Edward Mulzet; sisters Dorothy Burns and husband Glenn and Elaine Groller; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Nelson.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, May 1st, 2014 in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery MacArthur Road and Lehigh Streets Whitehall. There are no calling hours. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements.
