Obituaries
Michael P. Schwenk, 62, of Catasauqua, died at his home February 4, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elwood L. and Dorothy E. Schwenk.
Michael graduated from Catasauqua High School, where he played football and ran track. He worked as a mechanic for a variety of local businesses and most recently was a maintenance mechanic for Lineage Logistics. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed working on his jeep and going out for weekly breakfast.
Above all, he was a loving and devoted father, brother, and friend, who will be missed.
Surviving is his daughter Alexis L. Pursell, his sister Barbara J. Mahoney and husband Jack, niece Alysha A. Mahoney, and Uncle David Schwenk and wife Marsha.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30pm on Sunday February 16, 2025, at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 410 Pine Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. A reception to greet family will follow the service in the church hall.
