Obituary for Michael S. Bendekovits
Michael S. Bendekovits 48 years of Northampton died Wednesday November 11, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the former husband of Lynn E. (Heffelfinger) Bendekovits. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Takacs) Bendekovits. A Catasauqua High School graduate Michael was working as a clerk for Laneco for many years and was an avid golfer, traveler and enjoyed football games. Surviving with his former wife are his daughters Amy and Sarah of Northampton, sisters Colleen wife of Michael Berger of Whitehall, Sharon wife of Lonnie Stewart of Delaware, nieces Alyssa, Emily, nephew Ryan Berger and aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday November 14, in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 9:30am until 11:00am Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the funeral home for the children’s educational fund or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society 1 Reed Street Philadelphia, Pa. 19147.
