Obituary for Michael T. "Mickey" Kalnas
Michael T. “Mickey” Kalnas 69 years of Whitehall died November 29, 2009 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was married for 41 years to Margaret A. (Ohotski) Kalnas. Born in Fullerton he was the son of the late Michael A. and Anna (Ringo) Kalnas. Mickey had worked for the Whitehall Police Department for 42 years before retiring in May of 2002. He was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua, St. John the Baptist Prime Time Club and a life member of the Fullerton Fire Co. #1. Surviving with his wife are daughters Michele A. Opperman of Macungie, Julie A. Kalnas of Temple, Pa. son David M. Kalnas of Orlando, Fl. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday December 4, 2009 in the Brubaker Funeral home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to One by One Cat Rescue P.O. Box 226 Kutztown, Pa. 19530.
