Obituary for Mildred "Millie" Bankos
Mildred “Millie” M. Bankos, 85, of Whitehall, passed away on September 25, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew W. Bankos for 44 years before his passing in 2003. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Kurzeja) Skeebok.'

Millie graduated from Whitehall High School and went on to work as a secretary at Dun & Bradstreet. She loved her Polish polkas and enjoyed shopping. She loved to watch NBA basketball games and especially enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia 76ers. Above all, she was a loving wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle M. Bankos of Whitehall, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters.'

A viewing will be held from 8:30-10 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church 1239 3rd St, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Burial will be followed at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Northampton. Contributions may be made in Millie’s memory to St. John Fisher RCC at the above address.
