Obituary for Myrtle E. Kratzer
Myrtle E. Kratzer 82 years of W.Catasauqua died Tuesday January 2, 2007 in Whitehall. She was the widow of Samuel F. Kratzer Sr. who died July 19, 2006. Born in Stowe, Pa she was the daughter of the late Frederick O. and Rachael (Grim) Bartholomew and her late stepmother Mary Bartholomew. She had work for many years in the former Clyde Shirt Factory of Northampton before retiring. Myrtle was a member of the former Catasauqua Moose Ladies Auxiliary and the War Mothers of W.Catasauqua. Surviving are; Sons - Samuel F. Kratzer Jr. of Northampton and Richard husband of Beverly Kratzer of N.Catasauqua. Daughter -Linda wife of Henry Duda of Arizona. Brothers – Melvin Bartholomew of Catasauqua and Fred Bartholomew Jr. of N.Catasauqua Step sister - Hilda Kiss of Danielsville Step brother - Joseph Fischl Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday January 6, 2007 in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Her viewing will be 10:00am until 11:00am in the funeral home. The interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, W.Catasauqua.
