Obituary for Nadia B. Azar
Nadia B. Azar, 77 years of Catasauqua formerly of Fullerton died Friday January 10, 2014 in her residence. Born in Amar, Syria she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth ( Shahda) Azar. Nadia was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Catasauqua. She had worked at the former Penn State and Cedar Crest Apparel Mills as a sample handler with the I.L.G.W.U. of Allentown for 29 years before retiring. Surviving is a sister May Hakim of Tripoli, Lebanon and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by sister Sheila Atiyeh, brothers Jack Azar and Milad Azar and sister Naifef Afif. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday January 15th in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00 am until 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in her name payable to Salem U.C.C. 615 Third Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
